I am a recent business school grad with an interest in Advertising/Marketing, Marketing Informatics, Social Media, and Open Innovation. After spending 7 years in University and obtaining two degrees I decided that I needed an adventure so I packed up my belongings and moved to Dublin, Ireland. After looking for a job with no success (aren’t global recessions great?) my superb analytical skills told me to cut my losses and see as much of Europe as I could and return home to Halifax. Ohhh well, nothing ventured nothing gained, or so they say. Now settled back in Halifax I have begun my search for a full time marketing/social media position. At least in my current job I get to do some social media work to keep the withdrawals away.

Now on the more personal side, I am an amateur photographer and in my spare time I love experimenting with composition and the settings on my camera. In addition to photography I also love to run and so far I have run two half-marathons. Hopefully, within the next year or two I’ll work my way up to running a full marathon. When not outside running or taking pictures you will most likely find me inside at my computer surfing the information super highway or reading a good book (because reading a bad book would just be silly).
